In spring 2020, Cluj Tech Society will focus on FinTech as the main theme for the largest recruiting and employer branding event in Romania, in the field of technology. The two-days event will be dedicated to everything from recruiting in the field of IT to conferences and workshops about FinTech.
At its core, fintech is utilised to help companies, business owners and consumers better manage their financial operations, processes, and lives by utilising specialised software and algorithms that are used on computers and, increasingly, smartphones. FinTech, the word, is a combination of “financial technology”.
The FinTech emerging industry uses technology to improve activities in finance, including different sectors and industries such as education, retail banking, fundraising and nonprofit, and investment management.
Our aim is to deliver a complex and fully detailed event that includes talks around this topic, interactive presentations on FinTech, workshops and sessions for entrepreneurs, employers and candidates interested in growing together in this field.
The event will take place between the 3rd and 4th of April 2020, at BT Arena, Cluj.
The main conference will bring international speakers, motivators and people aiming to inspire those present in the two full days of stage talks.
Among the first announced speakers at the event is Răzvan Enache, FinTech enthusiast, project manager of Future Banking conference & founder at EROA Investments. He is a big fan of Fintech innovations, not just for the sake of innovation, but for the real potential of disruption, solving and easing the day to day life of the banking services consumer.
Over the past years, Răzvan has acquired experience as a content strategist of Wall-Street.ro, a leading online business publication in Romania.
We are also happy to have Ciprian Păltineanu among our speakers as well, a banker and investor, with 20+ years of experience in corporate finance, investment management, private equity and corporate & investment banking in Romania, CEE, USA and the UK.
He is also an angel investor and business mentor for regional start-ups and a non-executive director or advisor of several Romanian and British companies.
We will also organise a FinTech hackathon that will bring together important members from areas essential to optimisation and problem-solving
in FinTech industry, with the purpose of delivering innovative ideas that improve financial service processes. The moderator will be Cristian Betea, co-organizer at ApexVox and applications engineer at Steelcase.
So if you want to access a young, tech-savvy audience, looking for the perfect job in technology, Cluj Tech Society is the event for you.
